Meeting report
The AGM passed off without any undue fuss — We now have a Chairman, Ted Hickford, instead of two co-chairmen.
We were then treated to the sight of Dave Dean demonstrating how not to turn a bowl from a wood and aluminium composite blank; the demonstration was interrupted by the hunt for the piece of wood which decided that it wanted a divorce from its aluminium partner.

Surrey Association of Woodturners Open Day - Sunday 29th of October.
We are entering a table of ten items in the "Club Table" section of their Open Competition. Here is a picture of the items.
Future Programme
November 5 th will be an all day demonstration by Jimmy Clewes.

Subs (£20) for the new year are now due and after the next meeting will be overdue!
