Newsletters

The club Newsletter is published monthly, normally within a few days of our regular meetings. It is circulated to all members, by email, or by post to those who do not have access to the Internet.

It provides a summary of the meeting to include details of the event held, general news items, results of competitions and any other matters of general interest to the members, such as items for sale or wanted. It also provides information regarding forthcoming events and competition details.

Any ideas or items, you as a member wish to publish, can always be passed to the Editor with a request for inclusion.

Recent Newsletters are available on this Website.

“Tips for Turners”

This is a recent addition to the Newsletter. Any tips believed to be of benefit to others, can be included. Tips for publication will be collated by David Lawrence and should be sent to him via the Editor/Webmaster.

Members are reminded that space in the Newsletter is limited and are therefore asked to keep the details – and any accompanying photographs - as brief as practicable.

This months TIP:

Cheap centre finders for bowl blanks can be made by scribing concentric circles

with dividers on a piece of perspex and drilling a small hole in the centre

for a bradawl.
